Instructions
1. Insert the needle to the infusion site.
2. Peel off release paper from transparent dressing.
3. Do not stretch the dressing, make it natural droop.
4. Smooth the dressing and properly fixed I.V. needle.
Precautions for use of PU film indwelling needle patch and related operation points:
1. Preparation before operation
Skin cleaning and disinfection
Before sticking, the skin at the puncture site must be cleaned to ensure that there is no grease, dirt and hair residue. It can be washed with a mild detergent and thoroughly dried (avoid excessive friction).
The disinfectant must be completely evaporated before applying, otherwise it is easy to cause water vapor accumulation or decreased viscosity.
Skin evaluation
Check whether the skin has signs of damage, inflammation, allergy or infection. It is forbidden to use it on damaged/infected areas.
Those with a history of allergies are recommended to try it locally and use it after confirming that there is no redness, swelling or itching.
Size selection
Choose the appropriate size according to the size of the indwelling needle and the puncture site. If it is too small, it cannot be fully covered, and if it is too large, it is easy to loosen and fall off.
2. Sticking operation specifications
Tensionless sticking
Hold the patch to avoid pulling, let it hang naturally with the puncture point as the center, and then press the edge to shape it to ensure that the dressing fits the skin and the isolation plug completely.
Completely sealed isolation plug
The transparent dressing needs to completely cover the white isolation plug to form a sterile barrier.
Tips for fixing the extension tube
The extension tube needs to be fixed in a U-shaped bend (using the principle of the connecting vessel to reduce blood return), with the Y-shaped interface facing outward; the heparin cap is fixed using the "high-lift platform method".
Avoid bubbles and wrinkles
After applying, press and smooth it to ensure that there are no wrinkles or bubbles, otherwise it will affect the adhesion and breathability.
