Skin care of the friction area or moist environment, such as skin protection around tracheotomy, bony protuberance,

Protection of mild abrasions, cuts, and suture wounds;
Fixation of other dressings.
Make sure the wound area is clean and dry before using dressing.
A dressing should be selected that overlaps the wound margin by at least two centimeters.
Remove the release film before use and adhesive the dressing on the wound area.
If required, silicone foam dressing without border may be cut to size or shape before removal of the protective film. Once in position the dressing may be held in place with a bandage or other suitable retention aid.
