Products Description
PE surgical film is a film specially used for surgical operations. It is mainly used to simplify preoperative skin disinfection operations, fix the surgical area and prevent cross infection during surgery.

Material performance
High antibacterial and barrier properties
PE film has excellent barrier properties, which can effectively block the penetration of body fluids and bacteria, and reduce the risk of surgical wound infection.
Safety
Low-allergenic design reduces skin irritation reactions.
Easy to operate
Transparent material facilitates real-time observation of the operating area during surgery and improves surgical efficiency.
Infection control function
Isolates pathogens on the skin surface, prevents contact infection and intraoperative cross-contamination.
Iodine-containing antibacterial products can further enhance the antibacterial effect.
Breathability and comfort
The microporous breathable structure allows the skin to breathe normally, reducing the risk of infection caused by water vapor accumulation.
Specifications and design optimization
Multiple specifications are available to meet different surgical field coverage requirements.
The easy-tear edge design simplifies the operation process and improves intraoperative operation efficiency.
Disposable sterile use reduces the risk of infection.
Applicable scenarios
Applicable to high-precision minimally invasive operations such as hysteroscopic surgery, covering the skin of the surgical field to simplify the preoperative disinfection process, while protecting the incision from pathogens.
General Surgery and Wound Surgery
Applicable to open abdominal surgery, burn debridement and other scenarios, reducing the probability of migratory infection of the wound through high fit.
Infection Prevention and Control
Prevention of contact infection: Isolation of skin colonization flora, body fluids and pollutants, such as blocking fecal water pollution in intestinal surgery.
Special antibacterial needs: Iodine-containing surgical film enhances the antibacterial effect and is used for high-risk infection surgery.
Intraoperative operation assistance
Fixed catheter or instrument: Prevent displacement during surgery and ensure a clear surgical field.
Drainage management: Some models can be connected to a diversion bag to collect waste fluid to avoid contamination.
Fit complex anatomical areas (such as perineum, head and neck), and adapt to intraoperative body position changes such as lateral position and prone position.
Specification adaptation scenarios
Large area coverage: Large specifications are used for combined chest and abdominal surgery, etc.
Delicate operating area: Small size suitable for laparoscopic surgery or local incision protection.

Patient-related contraindications
Skin allergy or intolerance
It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to polyethylene (PE), medical pressure-sensitive adhesive or ethylene oxide residues, which may cause local redness, swelling, itching or even anaphylactic shock.
It is contraindicated for sensitive skin or surgical areas with inflammatory lesions such as eczema and dermatitis to avoid aggravating skin damage.
Special wound conditions
Open wounds, infected wounds or purulent lesions are prohibited from direct coverage, which may hinder wound drainage and increase the risk of infection.
It is prohibited to stick when the skin is not completely dry, which may cause loose fit or fall off during surgery.
Basic information
Standard
ISO13485
Certification
FDA Approved
Protection Function
Fixing the surgical area and preventing cross infection during surgery
Product Material
It can maintain stable performance in complex body fluid environments and reduce the potential risk of chemical reactions with the surgical area.
High transparency facilitates surgical field observation and improves the accuracy of doctors' operations.
Precautions for use
Compatibility with other instruments/consumables
Not suitable for procedures that require large-area cutting with high-frequency electrosurgical knife (such as burn eschar excision), as high temperature may cause film melting or colloid degeneration.
Postoperative management taboos
Violent tearing is prohibited during postoperative peeling, and it needs to be gently peeled off along the edge of the incision to avoid residual colloid or damage to new tissue.
