Hydrocolloid – Bordered Hydrocolloid Fom Adhesive Dressing

Hydrocolloid Dressings are a versatile and effective solution for managing light to moderately exuding wounds.
These dressings create a moist wound environment, promoting natural healing and facilitating the removal of dead tissue.
They are made from a flexible and comfortable material that conforms to the body, ensuring a secure fit and optimal coverage.
Patient comfort is prioritized with soft and hypoallergenic materials. The dressings are easy to apply and remove, and their cost-effectiveness is enhanced by various size options.
Hydrocolloid foam dressings are based on hydrocolloid dressings with an added absorbent core to better absorb wound exudate.
strong absorption of exudate( with the core)
The porous structure of the foam dressing can efficiently absorb liquid exuded from the wound (such as tissue fluid, blood or pus), keep the wound dry, and avoid infection or immersion damage caused by excessive moisture.
The liquid is retained inside the dressing through water-locking technology to reduce leakage.
Hydrocolloid foam dressings combine the advantages of hydrocolloid and foam dressings, be able to better care for wounds and prevent pressure sores and bedsores.
We can provide this dressing in the following sizes:
10*10cm
15*15cm
20*20cm
What certificates do we have

Notes:
1) It is not suitable for wounds with heavy exudates, when the dressing becomes white and swelling, it indicates that dressing should be changed
2) There may be some smell from the dressing sometimes, and this semll could disappearafter cleaning the wound with saline water
3)The gel will be formed by the mixture of hydrocolloid molecule and exudates, as it looks like purulence secretion, it would be misunderstood as the wound infection, just clean it with saline water

Protection Function
It interacts with wound exudate to form a gel environment, accelerating wound repair.
Product Material
Material composition
Mainly composed of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), synthetic elastomers (such as polyisobutylene) and semipermeable membrane surface layer, forming a composite structure with both adhesiveness and absorbency.
Functional stratification
Adhesive layer: fits tightly to the skin to prevent bacterial invasion; Gel layer: swells after absorbing exudate to form a moist microenvironment; Semipermeable membrane: allows oxygen and water vapor exchange, but blocks external pollutants.
Precautions for use
1. Contraindications or restrictions for infected wounds
Acute infected wounds
Wounds with redness, swelling, suppuration or clear bacterial infection (especially anaerobic bacteria, tuberculosis, syphilis, fungal infection) are prohibited from being used alone and must be combined with systemic antibiotic treatment or other interventions.
Potential infection risk
Immunocompromised patients (such as those after chemotherapy and organ transplantation) should be cautious, as a closed environment may induce latent infection.
2. Contraindications for specific wound types
Burns and deep injuries
Full-thickness burns, third-degree burns, and wounds covered with eschar are contraindicated.
Tissue ischemia or necrosis
Wounds with insufficient local blood supply (such as arterial occlusive ulcers) or necrotic tissue that has not been debrided should avoid increasing the risk of ischemia.
Complex cavity wounds
Wounds with deep sinuses, fistulas, or unfilled dead cavities cannot be effectively covered by dressings and may have residual exudate.
