How to use?
Preparation before use
Clean and dry skin
Wash the heel and surrounding skin with warm water and mild soap to ensure that there is no grease or dirt left, then wipe it dry with a clean towel or let it dry naturally.
If there is a wound: First clean the wound with normal saline or medical disinfectant (such as iodine), and gently dry the surrounding skin.
Trimming dressing size
Cut the hydrocolloid dressing according to the size of the heel or wound, ensuring that the coverage area is 1.5-2cm larger than the affected area to avoid the edge being too narrow and causing it to fall off.
Application steps
Remove the protective film
Take out the heel patch from the package and gently peel off the anti-stick protective layer on the back, avoiding touching the adhesive surface to prevent contamination.
Precise alignment
Heel protection: Aim the center of the absorbent pad to the heel bone protrusion or painful area.
Wound care: Make sure the dressing completely covers the wound and the edge fits tightly against healthy skin.
Fix and press
Apply the dressing flatly from the center outwards, gently press around with your fingers to remove air bubbles, and ensure there are no wrinkles or curled edges.
