Precautions for use
Prohibited groups and wound types
1. Infected wounds
If there is infection, ulcer or large-area burn at the puncture site, it is prohibited to use the indwelling needle patch, otherwise it may aggravate the local inflammatory reaction or cause the infection to spread.
Example: If the skin around the puncture point is congested, exuded or fever occurs, it should be discontinued immediately.
2. Patients with special medications
Irritant drug infusion : It is prohibited to infuse blistering agents, high osmotic pressure liquids or drugs with extreme pH values (<5 or >9) to prevent drug extravasation from causing tissue necrosis.
3. Parenteral nutrition solution infusion : Due to the high viscosity and high osmotic pressure of the nutrition solution, it is easy to increase the risk of catheter blockage or thrombosis.
4. People with allergic constitution
Patients who are allergic to medical adhesives are prohibited, and skin erythema, blisters or contact dermatitis may occur.
