Products Description
Used to fix intravenous indwelling needles, infusion catheters, PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter), CVC (central venous catheter) and anesthesia catheters to reduce the risk of falling off due to activities or external forces.
Assisted fixation of chest closed drainage tubes, spinal surgery positioning catheters and other specialized equipment.

Fixation method
Close the film around the puncture point to ensure sterility and reduce the risk of infection.
The extension tube needs to be fixed in a U-shape to keep the tube straight to avoid poor liquid flow or blood return.
Prevent curling of the film or pressure damage.
Activity restriction
Avoid excessive activity of the limb with the indwelling needle (such as strenuous exercise, lifting heavy objects) or prolonged sagging to prevent needle displacement or blood return.
Do not press on the indwelling needle during sleep, and loosen your fist appropriately to promote blood circulation.
Daily inspection
Check the puncture site for redness, swelling, exudation or pain before and after each infusion, record the puncture date and observe the label information in time.
Abnormal situation handling
If redness, swelling, heat, pain or exudation occurs, notify the medical staff immediately, and remove the tube and change the puncture site if necessary;
If there is no blood in the aspiration or the flushing resistance is large, it is forbidden to force the injection, and the tube needs to be removed to avoid thromboembolism.

Special populations and scenarios
Infants, young children, and the elderly: Those with fragile blood vessels need to strengthen fixation and shorten the inspection interval; Patients with long-term infusion: Upper limb indwelling is preferred to avoid blood return blockage caused by gravity in the lower limbs.
Through standardized operation and close observation, the risk of infection and complications can be reduced, and the safety of indwelling needle use can be improved.
